These are the basic rules for using DreamTube. They're written in plain language, not dense legalese — if you have a question this page doesn't answer, use the Contact support form in Settings.
DreamTube lets you turn a written or spoken description of a dream into a short AI-generated video or image, using fal.ai's models. You can keep results private or publish them to the shared Explore feed.
You need an account (username, password, and ideally an email so we can reach you and let you reset your password) to generate dreams. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account.
Generating a video or image spends tokens from your balance. You get some tokens free on signup, plus a small number of free tokens you can claim once a day; you can buy more in the Shop. Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments; see our Privacy Policy for what that involves. Purchases are generally final — contact support if something went wrong with a charge or a generation failed and didn't refund automatically.
Video and image generation uses third-party AI models (fal.ai). Results can vary in quality, may not always accurately reflect what you described, and may occasionally fail to generate at all. We don't guarantee any particular output, and generation failures are refunded automatically where possible (contact support if one isn't).
Don't use DreamTube to generate or publish content that is illegal, that depicts real minors in a sexual or exploitative way, that infringes someone else's rights, or that's intended to harass, defame, or impersonate someone without their consent. DreamTube doesn't support uploading a photo of anyone other than yourself for character generation, and photos of children/teens can't be used for generation at all. We can remove content or suspend accounts that violate this.
You own what you create. By publishing a dream to the shared Explore feed, you're choosing to make it visible to other users of the app; you can unpublish or delete it at any time.
Publishing a dream also grants DreamTube a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, and display that dream — including on DreamTube's own official social media and promotional channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), not just inside the app. You can turn this off for any individual dream at any time in its settings (on by default), and unpublishing or deleting it ends the license for any future use. This license applies only to dreams published on or after the date this clause took effect — it's never applied retroactively to anything already public before then.
If you see something in the Explore feed that shouldn't be there, tap the More action on that dream to report it — our team reviews every report. You can also block an account from that same menu; once blocked, that account's dreams stop showing up in your Explore feed. To reach us directly about a safety concern, use Settings → Support & feedback → Contact support — we read every message.
You can permanently delete your account at any time: Settings → Danger zone → Delete account, confirmed with your password. This is irreversible — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is and isn't removed.
DreamTube is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We're a small, beta-stage product — to the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here is intended to limit any right that can't legally be limited.
We may update these terms as the product changes; we'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use DreamTube after a change means you accept the updated terms.
